Our Story

Bill and Michelle Service formed the Service Family Foundation in late 2021 using proceeds from the sale of a business. They envisioned creating a foundation that would give back to the Pacific Northwest communities that had given them and their family so much.

Bill and Michelle have spent the better part of three decades building and growing successful companies around the country, but their greatest achievement is undoubtedly their family. The Service Foundation is a multigenerational endeavor, with their three sons and multiple other family members actively involved in shaping the foundation's strategic approach to philanthropy. The current board members include  Bill Service, Michelle Service, Bob Service (Bill's brother), and Bruce Service (Bill's and Michelle's son) 

The Service Family sees the foundation as a powerful tool to strengthen their community and tackle important challenges, especially in health and wellness. Their desire is to mentor their children, grandchildren and other family members to assist in the evolving mission of the Foundation.
